Rosebank, Auckland
Trilogy Funds Group recently expanded its asset footprint to New Zealand to capitalise on New Zealand’s strong rental markets and property fundamentals. We formed a joint venture with a highly experienced local team to acquire 482 Rosebank Rd, Rosebank, a prime industrial property in one of Auckland’s most sought-after, high-performing precincts.
The asset was acquired on favourable terms by leveraging a transitional leasing situation. The existing tenant had only three months remaining on their lease. Prior to settlement, a new longterm lease was secured with Drive Group, a subsidiary of Suncorp, Australia’s sixth-largest bank and part of the broader ANZ Banking Group. The property will now be repositioned to accommodate Drive Group’s unique operational requirements, being a specialist service provider that combines motor vehicle damage assessment with repair services. A blue-chip tenant was secured on a longterm lease with asset expansion/upgrade worked into the plans, all prior to settlement – a classic core-plus opportunity.

Trans-Tasman Industrial Fund
Following the success of the Rosebank acquisition and aligned strategic objectives, Trilogy Group is strengthening its partnership with the same local team to launch the Trans-Tasman Industrial Fund. The Fund’s mandate is to identify and acquire core-plus industrial property opportunities across New Zealand, leveraging our partner’s local expertise, and Australia’s eastern seaboard, where Trilogy Group has over 25 years of experience.
In 2025, we aim to provide investors with access to a diversified portfolio of high-quality core-plus industrial assets across Australia and New Zealand through the Trans-Tasman Industrial Fund.
Asia-Pacific institutional investors
Trilogy Group offers institutional investors access to Australia’s thriving property development markets. Investors can participate in senior-secured or mezzanine debt funding for construction and property development projects or take equity positions in these ventures. Alternatively, investors can gain multi-asset / multi-loan diversified exposure via pooled investments. These opportunities may provide tax advantages for investors in specific jurisdictions.
Trilogy Group is currently looking to strengthen existing relationships and build new relationships with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region.
